Dinner Sitting List for

On the 19th May 1910 world leaders gathered in London for the funeral of His Late Majesty King Edward VII which would take place on the following day.

Rarely has there been an assembly of such historic world leaders under one roof as there was at this dinner at Buckingham Palace hosted by the new King George V who was now in the second week of his reign.

Nine monarchs gathered for this dinner (photographed above) in addition to President Roosevelt of the United States and Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria; whose ultimate assassination would be seen as the trigger for World War I.
